Researching and recording this Chronology has highlighted the periods of growth and the changes Kiama has experienced in the previous decades.

Topography was originally set with volcanic flows out of Saddleback mountain, now a collapsed volcanic vent. Vegetation then grew in the volcanic soils and the indigenous Wadi Wadi arrived as our original inhabitants.
