As an introduction to our Sharpe family photo album we would like to mention a little of our grandparents, James and Mary-Jane Sharpe.

James Sharpe married Mary Jane Nelson on 28th June, 1882. They had a family of ten children-six sons and four daughters-all married except Wallace John who was killed in action on 28th March, 1918 in World War 1.
