GERRINGONG & DISTRICT HISTORICAL SOCIETY Inc.
& MUSEUM
10 Blackwood Street, Gerringong, NSW 2534.
Patron:- Sandra McCarthy OAM, Emeritus Mayor, Fellow UOW.

WE ARE MOVING
The Gerringong & District Museum is closed temporarily, as from November 2017. The adjacent School of Arts building is to be restored and will then be the new home of the Museum. The existing Museum building is to be demolished and replaced with a Library complex. The complete plans for the new complex can be viewed by application to GDHS.
The Historical Society has sourced temporary storage for its artifacts until the new complex is completed. The COVID-19 pandemic and delays in the building project are making this a slow process.
The Society is continuing to hold monthly meetings in the RSL Hall, corner of Fern Street and Belinda Street. This temporary accommodation is provided with the kind invitation of the Gerringong RSL Branch.
We are getting very excited to welcome you to our new Museum and we are grateful to the Gerringong community for your support in our endeavours to maintain the history of Gerringong & District for future generations.
